Keep on rocking! \m/
This is the 5th video of the series of covers of "Images & Words" released by Dream Theater in 1992.
Recorded with: Music Man JPXI, Mesa Boogie Mark V, Mesa Boogie Road King 2x12, Mesa Boogie Cab Clone, TC Electronic Dreamscape, Shure SM57, Apogee One and Logic Pro 9.
All lead and rhythm guitar are 100% me, the original acoustic track was left to help me with the tone. This video is playback, everything was previously recorded and mixed, I don't have the copyrights of this song, this video is for entertainment purposes only.
Comparing the new Neural DSP Mesa Boogie Mark IIC+ Suite to real Mesa/Boogie Studio Preamp that's been modded to C+ specs (SP2C V1.0) and my Mark IV A/B.
Covering 3 of my favorite Dream Theater/John Petrucci eras tone-wise.
Using the original multitracks for drums, bass, keys and additional sounds.

Another Day Dreamtheater cover by Joachim Gassmann (Full Guitar Coverversion)
All guitar tracks were re-recorded by me on a backing track from Dreamtheater. I used the Fractal FM3 for the guitar sound. I chose a mesa boogie jp-2c as the amp.
Alle Gitarren sind mit dem Fractal FM3 eingespielt auf einen Backing Track. Als AVerstärker habe ich den Mesa Boogie JP-2C im FM3 eingestellt gewählt.

Hi,
This is my cover of one of my favorite Dream Theater songs. John Petrucci is such a a big inspiration to me and i really like Dream Theater, so i needed to cover this song. Also, this is my first video with my Mesa Boogie Mark V 25 - perfect amp and the best one i have ever used. For the rhythm i used crunch channel and for the lead i used lead channel - Mark IV mode. Settings are at the beginning of the video.
I would like to thank my girlfriend Lola for listening me practicing and playing this song over and over again :) I would also like to thank my best-man Pigo and my very good friend (and Pigo's wife:)) Tamara for helping me shooting the video in this beautiful place :)
Hope you'll enjoy it :)
